What We Do

James Cropper plc has three main strands to its operations: James Cropper Paper, James Cropper 3D Products and Technical Fibre Products.

James Cropper Paper

James Cropper are prestige paper innovators based in the English Lake District, supplying distinct, custom-made paper products to many of the world’s leading luxury brands, art galleries and designers.

A network of global sales and production facilities from Europe to the Far East provides local customer service to international clients, while its historic base in the village of Burneside retains nearly two centuries worth of papermaking expertise.

James Cropper 3D Products

James Cropper 3D Products represents the next generation of sustainable moulded paper packaging.

Available in a wide variety of colours and with a naturally tactile finish, the product is design-engineered and has a clear focus on quality. 3D Products are made from 100 per cent renewable natural fibres and are recyclable with paper.

Technical Fibre Products

As well as paper products, James Cropper plc also incorporates Technical Fibre Products (TFP), which is a leading manufacturer of non-woven materials from carbon, glass and polymer fibres for use in the aerospace, defence, automotive, energy and construction sectors. It offers the broadest range of high- quality, technical non-wovens in the world.

How We Work

James Cropper plc operates with its clients – both current and future – in mind at all times, with quality at its core. As such, it has developed an expansive range of premium products to suit a variety of needs. However, the company not only offers ‘off the shelf’ options; it recognises the call for brands to be unique and therefore works with them closely to achieve the perfect tailor-made solution for them.

With its historic base in the village of Burneside, and a network of operations across the globe, James Cropper works to make a positive contribution to the world. The business commitment to sustainability speaks to a global audience, supported through manufacturing standards, innovative solutions and a proactive approach to real world concerns. Indeed, James Cropper’s industry leading Reclaimed Fibre Plant has achieved industry acclaim and been recognised as a pioneering solution to the ‘coffee cup problem’.
