Our pass rate at A-Level is 97 per cent, marking high academic success and our ethos is to raise aspirations to help all our students to reach their potential. We successfully support students to achieve their goals and they annually secure offers from Oxbridge universities and places on competitive courses including medicine and veterinary medicine.
We also hold regular sessions with local employers such as BAE Systems, Gen II, Sellafield, GSK and Kimberly-Clark and who are seeking students for their Apprenticeship and Higher Apprenticeship programmes post A-Level and ‘earn and learn’ schemes such as KPMG’s prestigious school leaver programme.
New era with vocational qualifications
Alongside 30 subjects at A-Levels, the College is now offering Level 2/Level 3 programmes of Cambridge Technicals in subjects including Business, Health and Social Care, IT, Science and Performing Arts. These are a high-quality vocational alternative to A-Level designed with the workplace in mind so students leave college work-ready. This flexibility means students can mix and match with A-Levels in a tailor-made programme.
