Leading the world in essentials for a better life. That's what Kimberly-Clark is all about.

Kimberly-Clark at Barrow Mill have been in the area for over 40 years and produce Kleenex and Andrex for our consumer business as well as products for our KC Professional business. Located in one of the most attractive areas in the United Kingdom, many of our employees have chosen to work here not only because of the work and the opportunities, but also because of the unbeatable access to an active outdoor lifestyle for them and their family.

The site employs 380 people, the majority of whom are directly involved in running the production process, although we have production planners, Finance, HR and IT roles on site as well. We pride ourselves on putting safety first and have won awards for our safety record.

We take on eight apprentices in a higher level apprenticeship each year in mechanical, electrical and process apprenticeships, many of whom develop their career in KC taking on technician roles and engineer roles as their knowledge, skills and experience progress.

While our products may evolve, our values remain timeless.

For more than 140 years, our values have been woven throughout the fabric of our company. The values of authentic, accountable, innovative and caring describe how we work with and are judged by our consumers, business partners, investors and each other.

  • Accountable: We take ownership for our business and our future.
