Ulverston firm Bender UK are supporting a group of fundraisers who are cycling from London to Paris to raise money for the Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG).
The team – led by Jo-Ann and Nick Ellis – will cycle 100 miles each day from today (Thursday, June 2) to raise money through The Jake Ellis Fund, in memory of brave Jake Ellis who died aged five in 2008.
Bender UK – a partner of Choose Cumbria – has supplied return transport for the bikes and the group's cycling tops.
Jo-Ann Ellis said: “We’re biking from London to Paris with Team Jake to raise money for research into children's tumours.
“We’re grateful to Bender UK, who have supplied us with a van and fuel to get our bikes to and from London.
“The firm’s Managing Director Gareth Brunton heard about the ride and offered to help.”

Gareth added: "Bender UK and our previous Managing Director Steve Mason have always supported Team Jake so it was a no-brainer for us to help them.
"They raise money for such a fantastic cause. Everyone at Bender UK wishes Team Jake all the best with their latest challenge."
The team set off from Crystal Palace Sports Centre earlier today.
