The smiley Londoner is a regular on TV shows such as Mock the Week and has already sold out virtually all his Autumn gigs so has announced a fresh batch for 2016 which will bring him to Cumbria for gigs in Barrow, as well as further north in Workington and Carlisle.
Beckett specialises in observational stories which rely on his quick wit and self-deprecating humour, and he's already tested out Mouth of the South on audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe.
"Edinburgh couldn't have gone better, we sold out every show and put on extra shows and sold out. I was made up," he said.
"To go up there for a month and sell every ticket, it was a dream. Everyone was really excited and it was such a good atmosphere."
He burst onto the comedy circuit only five years ago but within a year he had won four new act competitions. He's has starred on Live At The Apollo, Would I Lie To You, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Mock The Week, and Celebrity Juice, as well as his role as resident comedian in the jungle each year on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! NOW!
Rob Beckett brings Mouth of The South to Carlisle's Old Fire Station on February 26, Workington's Carnegie Theatre on February 27 and Barrow's Forum on February 28.
