Teams complete charity cycle challenge

Teams from Kimberly-Clark and University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (UHMBT) cycled 50 miles for the Tour De Furness on Sunday, September 11.

The Kimberly-Clark team were cycling in aid of St Mary’s Hospice and Rotary charities.

The Call The Midwife team from UHMBT - led by Sascha Wells, head of midwifery for the trust - are raising funds for Furness General Hospital’s new maternity unit.

Fellow cyclist, Lynne Wyre, deputy chief nurse at FGH, said: "It was a really nice route through Coniston. Everyone has been so supportive along the way."
