A tech camp is coming to Sedbergh to give young people experience of coding and building video games, potentially nurturing a new generation of games entrepreneurs.

Fire Tech Camp, one of the UK’s leading providers of technology courses for children, is coming to Sedbergh School from July 25 to 28.

The camps enable children to use creativity and innovation while learning how to build apps and video games, as well as exploring other possibilities of coding.

Jill Hodges, Founder of Fire Tech Camp, said: “Today, many of our kids love to consume games, apps and websites but don’t know how they can develop this interest further.

“At Fire Tech Camp we immerse kids in their favourite technologies, build their knowledge and inspire and support them to create something they are really proud of and, for some, develop a lifelong fascination with technology.”

The courses are available for children aged over 12 and cost between £200 and £595. Click here for further information and to book.
