The 2016 Lakes Hospitality Trade Show has been described as the perfect place to research starting a hospitality business – and a new life – in South Cumbria.
The show – which will take place at the J36 Rural Auction Centre, Crooklands on February 24 and 25 – aims to showcase the hospitality industry and its providers to those already based in the region as well as those looking to make a business and lifestyle move
Haydn Spedding, a Lake District property expert with Colliers International’s Hotel Department, said the show is a great place for hospitality newcomers and veterans alike to research a change of career or a swap from city to rural life.
He added: “Over the years I’ve met many people who want to move to the Lakes for a better work life balance. They are prepared to swap well paid jobs for physical, emotional and spiritual riches.
“My advice is to come to the show and do your research. Even those who are experienced hands can always learn something new here.”
More than 100 businesses have already signed up to exhibit at the event to showcase everything from interiors, food, drink, equipment and technology businesses alongside those providing services such as banking, property advice, insurance and IT. Business leaders from the region have backed the event – now in its 41st year – and also its new location just off the M6 motorway.
Visitor registration is now open via the Lakes Hospitality Trade Show website at www.lakeshospitalitytradeshow.co.uk
