NuGen, the company behind the proposed Moorside nuclear power station, has released new artist’s impressions of the development.

The new images show one of the project’s buildings and Moorside’s own railway station, as well as three Westinghouse AP1000 reactors on the main site.

NuGen is expected to give the final go ahead on the project in 2018, with construction beginning in 2020.

The second stage of NuGen’s public consultation process begins this Saturday, May 14 in Whitehaven.
