Some of the world’s finest supercars worth millions of pounds will be showcased at a major event coming to Cumbria next week.
The Elite Sports and Performance Car Club will stage its annual event at Westmorland Show Ground at Crooklands, near Kendal, between 11am and 5pm on Sunday, May 15.
Event organiser David Robinson expects to attract thousands of car enthusiasts of all ages to take a look at an array of Lamborghinis, Porsches, Ferraris and McLarens as well as the E-Type Jaguar, Aston Martin DB5 and legendary Group B rally cars from the 1980s.
He said: "It started as an event for classic cars, but I wanted to do something more with supercars and sports cars. Now we've got some of the best cars in existence.
“We hand out prizes for the best cars and it makes people's day.”
Visitors to the event can also enjoy live music, food and drink, and Cumbria's new Vorteka virtual reality experience.
Tickets are available in advance from the Brewery Arts Centre box office in Kendal.
