The UK's biggest girl band, Little Mix, have announced they are playing a summer show in Carlisle.
The band, who are enjoying phenomenal success and are one of British pop’s brightest acts, will play outdoors at Bitts Park on Sunday July 16, as one of a series of Summer Shout Out live shows.
Little Mix will perform their signature hits, including Shout Out to My Ex, Black Magic, Hair, and Wings, alongside tracks from their new album Glory Days.
The concert comes to Carlisle the day after Bryan Adams appears at the same location.
Lauren Munro of promoters LCC Live said: "We’re thrilled to be bringing Little Mix to Bitts Park, for what is shaping up to be a fantastic couple of days of live music in Carlisle.
"Little Mix are enjoying phenomenal success at the moment. This show is a chance for Little Mix fans to see the band perform a massive outdoor show this summer."
Tickets go on sale from Friday February 10, and demand is expected to be extremely high.
Carlisle City Councillor Anne Quilter, portfolio holder for culture, heritage and leisure, said: "We’re delighted to be welcoming Little Mix to Bitts Park. We’ve got a great summer of music planned with lots of diverse acts coming to the city, including Bryan Adams.
"It reinforces Bitts Park as a popular outdoor music venue and Carlisle as an events city. Come along and join in the fun."
