Cumbria’s biggest festival has revealed its line-up for this summer, with an eclectic collection of acts filling the bill.

Kendal Calling 2019 will be headlined by five acts spanning genres and decades across four days, from July 25 to July 28.

Fresh from their 50,000-strong Manchester homecoming show, the Courteeners will be bringing their raucous brand of indie rock to the Lake District for their first ever Kendal Calling headline appearance, ahead of their new album release.

Joining them will be Doves, who have been on hiatus since their last Kendal Calling performance in 2010. Their performance this July at Lowther Deer Park will mark their return as a band after nine years apart.

Also headlining are rock legends the Manic Street Preachers, who have spent more than 30 years at the cutting edge of the British rock sound.
