Search engine giant Google is returning to Cumbria for a free event hosted by In-Cumbria.com.
The internet giant will host a ‘digital garage’ programme at the state-of-the-art Lakes College campus on Friday, March 31 2017.
The event will feature presentations from some of Cumbria’s leading digital businesses with sessions from Google staff to help local businesses build an online presence and grow their business with digital tools.
The day will begin at 8.30am when firms including Forth Engineering and the University of Cumbria – both partners of Choose Cumbria – will reveal how digital opportunities have helped them grow, and continue with two sessions led by staff from Google’s London HQ.
The event is being staged with the support of Connecting Cumbria, the county council-run project that has rolled out superfast broadband around the county.
Previous Google Garage events in Carlisle and Barrow have proved incredibly popular with attendees, so companies are reminded to book in advance to avoid disappointment
