One of the Lake District’s most luxurious hotels has revealed plans to add a brand new restaurant and spa to its offer, as it bids to become one of the premier hotels in the north.
In March next year, Brimstone Hotel on the Langdale Estate will open the doors to its brand new 200 seat restaurant Stove, which claims to be unlike anything else in the region.
It will offer modern British food from simple fish and chips to lobster.
Stove’s interiors will offer a range of seating areas to suit different moods as well as a wine room for intimate dining, an open kitchen with a feature wood-fired oven and a chef’s table where guests can interact with the chef as their meals are prepared.
In addition to Stove, in July the Brimstone Spa will launch offering 10 treatment rooms plus a double treatment suite equipped with a spa bath, double treatment tables, a double shower and double bed for relaxing on post-treatment.
It will also boast a heated relaxation infinity pool that will span from indoor to outdoor, a big outdoor fire with a covered seating area and seven thermal experiences including a Himalayan salt steam grotto, fragrance columns, foot-spas and an outdoor sauna.
Brimstone Spa will offer two chill-out areas as well as spa menu offering light healthy dishes that can be enjoyed in any of the seating areas, including outside by the fire.
The Brimstone opened in summer 2013, and is regarded as one of the most luxurious hotels in the county, with 16 rooms starting at £275 per night and ranging up to £400.
