A document outlining the £90 billion investment coming to West Cumbria will be launched on Friday (May 27).
Copeland's Growth Strategy sets out opportunities arising from investment of up to £90 billion set to flow into the borough over 20 years.
Mayor of Copeland Mike Starkie and MP Jamie Reed MP will speak to business owners, investors and entrepreneurs at the launch to promote the business and lifestyle opportunities available to people relocating to the area.
Mr Starkie said: “Copeland is set to benefit from the biggest investment in Europe across a range of industries, attracting up to 6,000 new workers and their families to the region.
"We want the world to know that Copeland is a destination for business and a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family."
As well as covering part of The Lake District, Copeland is at the core of the UK’s Centre for Nuclear Excellence, being host to Sellafield Ltd, as well the Moorside project - the largest nuclear new build development in Europe.
Mr Reed added: “Copeland’s best days are ahead of us. The opportunities coming our way over the next few years mean we could be one of the fastest growing sub-regional economies in the country.”
The event takes place at Muncaster Castle Old Laundry from 10am to 12 noon.
