Furness College is hosting an event to provide a unique insight into degree courses offered in Barrow-in-Furness.

The taster evening takes place tomorrow (Wednesday, June 15) and offers the chance to meet tutors at Furness College and experience the facilities at the site.

The college – a partner of Choose Cumbria – will also host a finance talk and Q&A session to answer questions on the cost of higher education.

Tutors will also be on hand to offer advice on the college’s Access to HE Diploma, which provides a pathway to studying for a degree.

Furness College offers a range of higher education qualifications and recently achieved The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) Quality Mark.

Andrew Wren, Principal of Furness College, said: “Students attending Furness College enjoy their time with us, succeed and go on to meet their career aspirations.”
