Directors Deborah Flynn, Jonathan Carroll and Carol Fish have achieved national recognition in the Chambers and Partners UK Guide, used to rank lawyers and law firms throughout the country.

Jonathan and the firm are ranked in Band 2 for agricultural law and rural affairs in the North West, with Jonathan described as having considerable experience in this area of law.

He is noted for his expertise in rural land transactions, contentious tenancy matters, renewable projects and development sales.

Carol Fish and Deborah Flynn are also ranked in Band 2, alongside their Personal Injury department team.

The guide states that the team is known for emerging personal injury practice that covers a diverse range of claims, including niche expertise in cases of injury caused by animals. The departments is also praised for handling brain and spinal injury litigation.

This is the third time in the past six months that Cartmell Shepherd – a partner of Choose Cumbria - has achieved national recognition for their expertise, following on from success in The Legal 500 and Lex 100.
