A BARROW school is celebrating a 100 per cent A-level pass rate for the sixth year running.

Chetwynde School recorded the perfect result as its students celebrated success in the exams this week.

Headteacher Russell Collier said: "I'm delighted for the students and staff. It is testament to all their hard work."

Friends Alexis Kirby and Olivia Keen were overjoyed with their grades. Alexis achieved an A* and two As.

The Coniston teen will study history and history of art at Edinburgh. "I'm so happy, I can't believe it," she said.

Olivia, 18, of Gleaston, is off to Leeds with two As and a B to study criminal justice. She said: "I feel wonderful."
