Employees of Kimberly-Clark in Cumbria and their families enjoyed a fun-filled day at Hawcoat Park Sports Club in Barrow-in-Furness yesterday (Sunday, July 10).
The annual Kimberly-Clark Family Fun Day saw over a thousand people enjoying activities such as bubble football, archery and segway rides.
Spectators saw six teams from Barrow Mill battle it out on an It’s A Knockout style obstacle course, while others watched Andy Murray beat Milos Raonic in the Wimbledon men’s singles final.
Crichton Waddell, Mill Manager for Kimberly-Clark – a partner of Choose Cumbria – said: “It was been a fantastic day and it was great to see so many smiling faces.
“Ultimately, the business is about our people and our people are supported by their families.
“We want our employees to feel that Kimberly-Clark is a great place to work and play a role in the community.”
