BAE Systems is looking for talented engineers and technical designers to join the most ambitious engineering project in the UK.
The event at Derbyshire County Cricket Club on Tuesday, November 29 will showcase the company’s most complex submarine project to date.
A team from BAE Systems in Barrow, a partner of Choose Cumbria, will be on hand to speak to experienced professionals and recent graduates about the opportunities available and the scope of the 20-year project.
As well as working on the most technically advanced project in the world – working with machinery even more precise than the space shuttle – employees at BAE Systems can benefit from constant development opportunities, flexible working and a culture that recognises success and celebrates achievement.
Choose Cumbria will also be at the event to discuss the high-quality lifestyle on offer in the region and the wider opportunities available to partners and family members in Cumbria.
Claire Croskery, content manager for Choose Cumbria, said: “We’re really looking forward to supporting BAE Systems at their recruitment event in Derby and showcasing the fantastic careers and lifestyle in Cumbria.
“Cumbria has so much to offer everyone, from professionals and their families to recent graduates. We’re keen to spread the message about the friendly communities, fantastic cultural events and the exciting future of the region – as well as the cutting-edge careers on offer.”
