A Cumbrian hotel and spa’s restaurant has been awarded two rosettes by the AA.
Inspectors visited Appleby Manor Country House Hotel and Garden Spa, in Appleby, recently.
In their report, they said the “quality of the food during the stay was of a very high standard both at breakfast and dinner” and “the meal was deservedly awarded two rosettes”.
Head chef Chris Thompson said he was thrilled with the award and that it was a testament to the skill and dedication of his kitchen team.
The hotel won the Best Tourism and Hospitality award at the in-Cumbria Business Awards 2017, following its revamp.
