Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the largest provider of NHS services in the county with 4,000 staff operating 60 community and mental health services from more than 20 main sites and other premises shared with other health or community services such as GP surgeries.

Cumbria covers a lot of ground, but patients aren't just a number, there's a sense of personal care, particularly in its smaller communities.
There are 32 GP practices in South Cumbria who are members of the NHS Morecambe Bay Clinical Commissioning Group and 40 GP practices in North Cumbria who are members of the NHS North Cumbria Clinical Commissioning Group .
Hospital care, including emergency treatment and scheduled surgery and clinics, is run by University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust from its primary sites at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Lancaster, Furness General Hospital, Barrow-in-Furness, and Westmorland General Hospital at Kendal.
The Trust also delivers services at two smaller, community-based centres, Ulverston Community Health Centre and Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe.
