Apprentice Training Instructor/Assessor
Eurest are recruiting in conjunction with Kimberly Clark for an Apprentice Training Instructor.
The role will be based within Kimberly Clark, Barrow Mill, Skill Centre.
Your Principle accountabilities will be to:-
Lead, coach and promote safe working practices.
Participate and promote site safety initiatives.
Provide craft and technical training, mentoring and assessment of apprentices engaged in their engineering disciplines, up to NVQ level 3 in accordance with awarding body guidelines.
Develop and implement training packages to accommodate changes from external organisations.
Ensure all records are kept up to date and provide accurate and timely data to apprentice training team.
Liaise with awarding bodies and external influences to ensure standards and procedures are met.

Candidates will need to be time served in a technical discipline, ideally qualified to HNC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent technical experience.
Candidates will also need to have an assessor award.
A teaching certificate and internal verification award would also be desirable but not essential. Previous experience in training and development of craft and technical skills in engineering disciplines within a workshop / classroom environment is essential.
Candidates will need to have a strong emphasis on Health and Safety within a working environment.
