Alexander’s sits in the grounds of The Castle Green Hotel in Kendal and serves traditional ales and bar meals. The Hotel is an independently owned and operated 99 bedroom 4* hotel, on the edge of the Lake District. See us at www.castlegreen.co.uk.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef to join our team in Alexander's kitchen brigade. Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Salary circa £20,000, for working 40 hours per week.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- A passion for creating quality food with local ingredients
- 2-3 years experience of working in a similar environments
- Able to coach and manage younger commis within the team
- Be able to run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chefs
